Noontide
Old English (nōntīd): midday—the moment when the sun is highest. The most vibrant point in a cycle; the highest or best part.
Noontide evokes light and clarity, rhythms of time, and the intersection of daily rituals with the natural world. These qualities shape our practice.
I’ve spent nearly two decades practicing architecture, but my fascination with making began long before architecture became my profession.
As a child, I spent hours in the woods building forts, shaping landscapes, and imagining places connected to their surroundings. Those early experiences taught me that meaningful spaces are discovered through curiosity, observation, and the act of making.
Today, that same curiosity guides our studio practice. We thoughtfully cultivate projects rooted in craft, and shaped by the way people live. Our projects become deeply reflective of the people who call them home.
Every project begins with a spark of an idea. From there it becomes a shared endeavor – shaped by our clients, enriched by our team, and brought to life through the skill of builders, artisans, and collaborators who share our commitment to craft. Our hope is to create homes that strengthen our connection to place, to one another, and to the rhythms of everyday life.
We believe the most meaningful homes emerge through thoughtful collaboration and careful listening. Together we cultivate places that grow more meaningful with time.
